CONFLICT OF INTEREST
To avoid a conflict of interest, which would tarnish the image of IMS or bring disrepute on IMS, all Associates will:
- Provide full, complete, fair and accurate disclosure in presentations, reports and documents.
- Comply with applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations.
- Make full and appropriate use of the resources entrusted to IMS.
- Make full and fair disclosure of all relevant information to donors who have a right to know how their dollars are being spent.
- Avoid any activity or outside interest which conflicts, or appears to conflict, with the best interests of IMS including business involvement with a current or potential IMS vendor, grantee, relative or others unless such relationship is disclosed in writing to a Board officer and such activity is determined by the Board not to be in conflict with the best interests of IMS.
- Disclose the associate’s affiliation with IMS and other organizations represented by the associate as may be relevant in helping others to understand the associate’s perspective on matters under discussion.
- Ensure that they do not derive any personal gain or profit, directly or indirectly, by reason of their affiliation with IMS.
- Refrain from obtaining or using any list or electronic compilation of contributors, members or associates of IMS for private, personal or business solicitation purposes.
