Get Involved
The most important thing you can do to support the mission of the Interfaith Mission Service Cooperative is to get involved. Below are 20 ways you can get involved in the life of the Cooperative:- Contact a leader or Coordinating Congregation doing work in the area or ministry that you have interest in and ask to be involved.
- Join our email list (enter your email on the front page).
- Get your congregation to become a member congregation.
- Contribute money to the Cooperative.
- Come to one of our events (also see front page for upcoming events).
- Tell a friend about the Cooperative.
- Become an individual member (or a student member) of the Cooperative.
- Come to a One Huntsville dining experience.
- Get your congregation to become a Coordinating Congregation.
- Provide an input to next year’s Annual Report – contact Chuck Vedane [vedane at comcast dot net]
- Initiate a conversation with a member of the Specialized Ministry Team.
- Submit an article or event to the Cooperative Newsletter [newsletter at interfaithmissionservice dot org]
- Come to the Annual Dinner.
- Become a Fan of the Interfaith Mission Service on Facebook.
- Get your friends to join the Cooperative Newsletter list (enter emails on front page).
- Help to improve our Congregational Study Guide Wikis.
- Fill out the form on the volunteer page.
- Attend a Leadership Council meeting.
- Read about our history.
