Throughout this Series, local faith representatives will speak out of their
experience of living according to their ancient religious traditions. Series
participants will benefit as they choose opportunities to:
- Experience the teachings of some of the world’s greatest spiritual masters
- Learn how each master demonstrates the connection of heightened awareness with “the balanced life”
- Gain understanding of how to “cultivate the mystic heart” by exploring the fascinating language of
the mystics
- Identify ways trans-cultural truths can help move humanity closer to wholeness
- Gain deeper awareness of life-affirming ways to live more “wholly” by delving deeply
into the psychologies of these truths
- Learn how authentic spirituality discovery does not require “getting
anything” if one sees it as a process of awakening inner truth
Weekly Schedule:
April 2 –After an overview of the local and national spiritual
landscape and its’ significance in our community, the focus will be on
LaoTzu, The Old Sage and Taoism
April 9 - The focus will be on Krishna, The
Avatar and Hinduism
April 16 - The focus will be upon Gotama,
The Buddha and Buddhism
April 23 - No class
April 30 - The focus will be on Moses, The
Liberator and Judaism
May 7 - The focus will be on Jesus, The
Christ and Christianity
May 14 – The focus will be on Muhammad, The
Prophet and Islam
- While attendance at the full Series will bring the greatest benefit,
participants can attend any one of the classes..
- There is no cost for the Series. A $5 donation per class is recommended for
those able to invest.
