INTERFAITH SUMMIT |

The Interfaith Summit is an annual conference which includes:
Lectures and Workshops on human values from different faith and cultural perspectives, Diversity and
Interfaith Dialogue on human values, and the demonstration of the collective wish to achieve human
values in Huntsville, the Nation and the World.
The ultimate purpose of the Interfaith Summit is to go beyond dialogue and enter into a stage of
cooperation among faith and cultural communities to undertake social initiatives based on human values
to alleviate human suffering. |

Target Audiences:
- The general public.
- Area faith communities and spiritual cultures – both lay and professional
- Interfaith organizations, cultural and racial groups who, as they discover their
own values, can learn how to interact with people from other traditions
- Experienced teachers, senior managers, and human resource (HR) professionals who
have a responsibility to assist in the design, development and implementation of a
school, college or corporate ethics program.
- Corporate legal advisors, corporate managers, government procurement managers,
union leaders, civil rights specialists and human resource professionals who want to
learn more about the role of ethics and human values in resolving conflicts and
disputes among the affiliated parties.
- School board members and college administrators who want to incorporate human
values education in their curricula.

Intentions and Desires Results
As the result of their experience of the Summit, participants will:
- Have an enhanced understanding of the common values shared among different
faiths and cultures.
- Be a part of a movement network of people committed to building the beloved
community, moving beyond barriers and stereotypes.
- Learn that no faith, culture, or race is monolithic or one dimensional – there is
richness and diversity in each.
- Learn usable, value-based conducts and practices that can be implemented in
schools, homes, and work.
- Learn how religions, each having permeable boundaries, can become agents of
reconciliation and healing.
